Oldies, but goodies!

From the beginning....

Make that three years!

Clearly, I don't have even the few minutes of free time I thought I had. Or maybe it's just because I always seem to get sidetracked with other things. Nonetheless, here I am again making an effort. So, instead of two years of catching up, now I have three!

Part of the reason why the blog was derailed was due to the Jerry Springer style smackdown at the MIL's during the trip to WI last year. I won't go into all the detail because this would turn into something entirely different and quite frankly, I'm not wasting anymore time on it.

So, our most recent "big event" was Cailin's first day of school. That's her on the right with one of her friends, Courson - aren't they just adorable?? Anyway, much to our surprise, she didn't cry a bit! She loved it and asks everyday when I pick her up..."mommy, can I go back to school?" I was so relieved considering she wouldn't even stay in church daycare over the summer.

And here's my little man, Connor with his serious face. He's getting so big!

TIme Out Fly!!

So, I thought it was really funny a couple of weeks ago when Cailin put me in time out...but yesterday she put a fly in time out!! I'm not sure what the fly did or if it listened...

Later that afternoon, she came running in the bedroom yelling..."Mommy, I got panties!!" I turned around to find her wearing seven pair of plastic training panties!! I don't even know what to say about that one!!

We're off to Wisconsin next week, so I'm sure I'll have plenty to blog about that!!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life....

Well, at least the first day of my bloggin' life! I've been wanting to start a blog forever, but just didn't know when I'd have the time. Yesterday, I stumbled on an ebay auction, which led me to a woman's blog who has six kids...now, I figure if she has time to blog, then I sure as heck can squeek out a few minutes a day to hack out a few lines!! I laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants...then I realized that it was one o'clock & I hadn't been to the bathroom yet. Yeah, I've got all sorts of time on my hands!!

With kids, there is always something funny going on. If this is only a way for me to remember it all or to keep Grandma updated without calling her six times a day, then it's served it purpose. I mean, let's face it, I can barely remember last week most days. Much less all the craziness that goes on around here!! But, hey, if in the process I make a few people laugh...then woohoo!! I've got two+ years worth of stories to catch up on. With new material everyday, I better get crackin'!!
